We insist on making Taiwanese vermicelli with no additives, and let wheat flour ferment its savory taste with bare hands in the traditional way.

Besides the beautiful natural views in Penghu, we wish to offer a cultural feast of local delicacies and traditional craftsmanship to the visitors and create the best memory for them.

To keep the long-established way of making Taiwanese vermicelli, we tried searching for the authentic flavor and craftsmanship. Furthermore, we add local ingredients like squid ink, cactus fruit, radish, seaweed, beet, etc. The visitors can experience hand-made vermicelli from dough mixing and solar drying with the traditional method.

Mingde Reservoir Workstation is located at Mingde Village in Touwu Township, Miaoli County, and its original name is Houlong Reservoir. The affluent of Houlong River, LaotianLiao River (also called Mingde River) flows through it, and it is the main water source of the reservoir.

The lake water in Mingde Reservoir is very clear with mountains surrounding the reservoir. There are three small islands in the watershed- Yuanyang Island, Rihsin Island, and Haitang island. They all have different features and are very famous attractions. Yachts are provided in the area for visitors' sight-seeing. Hong Mao Guan Little Restaurant located in Penglai Village, Nanzhuang Township is a local noodle restaurant that is affordable and delicious.
